Recently, C&T participated in a major exhibition in Hong Kong, where the company presented its latest innovations and shared its forward-looking vision for the mobile accessories industry. During the event, C&T founder Angel delivered a keynote speech titled “Generative Green: AI-Driven Nature Designs for 2027”, highlighting how sustainability, smarter design systems, and AI-powered development are reshaping the future of the phone case industry.

In her speech, Angel emphasized that the market is undergoing profound transformation. As the business environment continues to evolve, the key question for brands is no longer whether growth is possible, but where growth will come from in the next two to three years. She pointed out that the industry is currently being shaped by three major forces: changing regulations, shifting consumer expectations, and the rapid rise of AI.

From a policy perspective, sustainability is no longer optional. Angel noted that the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), which came into force on February 11, 2025, requires that all packaging placed on the EU market be recyclable by 2030. At the same time, consumers are becoming more conscious about how products are made, with increasing demand for sustainably produced and responsibly sourced goods. Meanwhile, AI is quickly becoming a core capability in both product development and marketing, changing how companies design, test, and launch products.

Against this backdrop, Angel shared C&T’s view that the market opportunity is still strong, but the way to grow has fundamentally changed. For manufacturers in the phone case industry, the real challenge is how to reduce waste while improving efficiency and business performance at the same time. Based on years of experience serving customers, C&T has found that many business problems—especially inventory pressure and SKU complexity—can be addressed much earlier, starting from the design stage.

One of the key ideas presented in the speech was that design should not focus only on a single model, but on a broader system. Guided by this thinking, C&T developed a more efficient product structure in which three sizes can cover fifteen iPhone models, from iPhone 12 to iPhone 16. This approach significantly reduces the number of SKUs, lowers inventory risk, and improves turnover efficiency. According to the presentation, this system can help reduce inventory by as much as 80%. At the same time, it allows consumers using older phone models to continue purchasing new designs, extending product life cycles and creating greater long-term value.

Sustainability was another major focus of Angel’s speech. She explained that C&T has continued to invest in this area over the past several years, building not only a portfolio of green materials, but also a growing ability to offer practical and scalable sustainable solutions. From renewable raw materials and energy-saving automated manufacturing to eco-friendly packaging and low-carbon transportation, C&T is working to reduce environmental impact throughout the entire product life cycle.

Angel also highlighted C&T’s progress in sustainable certification. In 2019, C&T became one of the first companies in the industry to achieve GRS certification. In 2026, the company further advanced its capabilities by introducing ISCC certification, becoming the first company in the industry to obtain it. These milestones reflect C&T’s long-term commitment to sustainable material development and its determination to provide customers with market-ready green solutions.

In addition to sustainability, AI has become an increasingly important part of C&T’s innovation strategy. During the presentation, Angel shared how AI is helping the company improve speed and efficiency across product development. With AI support, C&T has increased research efficiency by 50% and reduced visual rendering costs by 30%. More importantly, AI enables the team to evaluate ideas earlier, work faster, and bring products to market more efficiently. As Angel explained during the speech, AI is not about doing more—it is about doing less, but doing it better. For customers and buyers, this means lower risk, a better product structure, and faster sales potential.

Through its appearance at the Hong Kong exhibition, C&T once again demonstrated its commitment to evolving beyond traditional manufacturing. By combining sustainable materials, efficient design systems, and AI-driven capabilities, the company is building a more advanced and future-ready business model for the mobile accessories market.

Looking ahead, C&T aims to be more than just a supplier. As Angel stated in her speech, the company wants to become a trusted partner that helps customers improve business performance, reduce inventory risk, and explore new paths to sustainable profit. With innovation at its core and sustainability as a long-term direction, C&T will continue to drive smarter, greener, and more efficient growth for the industry.
